• This Whiskey Mask kit contains all the ingredients needed, except spring water, to make a 5 gallon mash of traditional cracked corn, malted barley & malted wheat whiskey. What comes in the kit: 5 lbs. cracked corn, 1 lbs. malted barley, 1 lbs. malted wheat, 5 lbs. dextrose corn sugar, Red Star DADY Yeast, FERMAX Yeast Nutrient, BSG Amylase. We've included a packet of One Step sanitizing powder .
• Corn, traditionally used in Bourbons and Tennessee Whiskeys, provides a rich, sweet flavor. Robust flavors of vanilla and maple syrup as well as white sugar and cotton candy can be pulled through. Sweetness can be offset through maturing in oak barrels. Whiskeys made from barley produce sweet flavors with caramel and brown sugar hints. Often described as having a roasted, nutty, toffee, flavored cereal quality. Whole wheat bread with a dab of honey. Wheat provides a whiskey with cereal notes.
• 7 Gallon fermentation bucket. Heavy duty handles built into the bucket. Includes air tight lid. Made out of HDPE plastic.
• Purchaser will have to drill a 1/2 inch hole in the lid for the double bubbler & 1 inch hole for the spigot.
