MOUNT TYPES: Inside mounted vertical blinds will have a deduction taken of approximately 0.4" to ensure a proper fit the window frame.Inside mounted blinds require a minimum frame depth of 2.4" for secure installation. If your window frame depth is less than 2.4" please select outside mount. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use that number deduct 0.4 " as your inside width when ordering.Step 2. Measure the height at 3 locations-the left,middle,and right side. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use that number deduct 0.4 " as your inside height when ordering.OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1. Measure the outside frame width adding 8" to be the outside mount width.Step 2. If your window is french window, measure from 2.4" above the top window frame to the place 0.4" above the ground. If your window is windowsill window, measure from 2.4" above the top window frame to the place 4 " below the bottom window frame.
